26 training sessions will be conducted during “Udyami Mitras” training.
The Uttar Pradesh government has initiated a 14-day basic orientation program for ‘Udyami Mitras’ (friends of entrepreneurs) who have been selected under the Mukhymantri Udyami Mitra Yojana. The program, overseen by Arvind Kumar, advisor to the chief minister, and CEO of Invest UP, Abhishek Prakash, will consist of 26 training sessions.
These sessions will cover topics such as investment-oriented policies, ease of doing business, various portals, and visits to industrial areas. The orientation program will also include department-wise sessions focusing on flagship projects like the trillion-dollar economy, defense industrial corridor, revenue code, land bank, rates, allotment procedures, and clearances.
The recruitment of ‘Udyami Mitras’ was directed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to expedite the implementation of investment proposals worth over Rs 33.50 lakh crore received through the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 and subsequent events. During the introductory session, Arvind Kumar briefed the newly selected ‘Udyami Mitras’ about the comprehensive industrial ecosystem being developed by the state government.
He also provided details about upcoming infrastructure projects such as multi-modal logistics parks, pharma parks, dedicated freight corridors, and the six nodes of the defense corridor.
Kumar highlighted the successful organization of international and domestic roadshows, the UP Global Investors Summit held in February 2023, and the dedicated portals like the Single Window Nivesh Mitra portal, Investor Relationship Management System-Nivesh Sarathi portal, and Online Incentive Management System developed for investor facilitation.
