Tribunal Committee Allocated Krishna delta drinking water for AP and TS: The Krishna river Board of Trustees tribunal committee held a meeting at Jalasoudha in Hyderabad to allocate Krishna water for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Tribunal Committee meeting decided to allocate 16 TNCs to Andhra Pradesh and 6 TNGCs for Telangana. Board Secretary Sameer Chatterjee, the engineer in the Water Resources Department of Andhra Pradesh, Venkateswara Rao. And Telangana Irrigation Engineering Inspectorate Chief Muralidhar and other officials participated in the meeting.
The meeting held for that this year, Telangana has urged the 40.1 TMC Krishna waters and AP requested for 17 TMC. The Board of Governors has suggested that there should be minimum water utility from the projects. And that Andhra Pradesh and Telangana should follow the commands of the board of Tribunal Committee. Sameer Chatterjee ordered Andhra Pradesh and Telangana not to release water from the joint reservoirs, without board of Tribunal Committee approval. And remaining things will discuss at the full board meeting held in next month.
