TS Govt striving for welfare of fishermen: Sabitha Reddy

Telangana Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the State government was taking several measures for the welfare of fishermen. As the year witnessed good monsoon, the State government has decided to release about one crore fishlings into various tanks in Rangareddy district, she said.

As the year witnessed good monsoon, the State government has decided to release about one crore fishlings into various tanks in Rangareddy district, she said. On Friday, she released fishlings into various tanks in Maheshwarm constituency. She, along with ZP chairperson Anitha Reddy, visited KollaPadakal, Kalvakol and Ameerpet villages to release fishlings in various tanks.

She exuded confidence that TRS party would win forthcoming municipal elections as the State government has been successfully implementing several welfare and developmental schemes such as Kalyan Lakshmi/ Shaadi Mubarak, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bheema and Asara pensions. During her visit to Ameerpet village, she inspected the government high school and interacted with students. She enquired students about the teaching methods being used and basic amenities at the school.
