The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is making extensive preparations to ensure a smooth and hassle-free darshan experience for thousands of devotees on September 22 during the Garuda Seva day as part of the nine-day annual Brahmotsavam celebrations, which commence on September 18.
Dharma Reddy, the TTD executive officer, has confirmed that all necessary arrangements have been put in place to facilitate a comfortable Srivari Darshan for pilgrims. On September 18, Chief Minister Jagan Reddy will present silk robes to Lord Venkateswara Swamy on behalf of the state government.
During Garuda Seva day, the TTD plans to accommodate approximately two lakh devotees in the galleries along the four mada streets. Devotees waiting on the Inner Ring Road and Outer Ring Road will subsequently be granted entry to the galleries through designated access points, including the Supatham Southwest gate, Govinda Nilayam Northwest gate, and northeast gates, as per the EO’s statement after inspecting the arrangements in Tirumala.
