Two Terrorists Killed in Ongoing Kashmir Encounter:

On Saturday, an encounter between security forces and two terrorists occurred near the Line of Control (LoC) in Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the death of the terrorists, as reported by the police.

The confrontation took place in the Hathlanga forward area within the Uri sector of this northern Kashmir district. Presently, a search operation is being conducted in the vicinity. The DistrictZone Police, via a post on X, informed the public about the initiation of an encounter between arsonists and the Army and Baramulla Police in the forward area of Uri, Hathlanga, with in the Baramulla district.

In subsequent updates, the police confirmed that two arsonists had been killed during the encounter and stated that a search operation was ongoing in the region. Details regarding the identities and group affiliations of the deceased arsonists are yet to be determined, according to the police.
