Ramayana Teaser to Be Showcased at WAVES 2025 Summit

The buzz around the Ramayana teaser is growing louder as Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious mythological epic gears up for its grand reveal at the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in Mumbai. Starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, the film will be released in two parts, making it one of the biggest mythological projects in Indian cinema.

The teaser is expected to be privately screened today or tomorrow at WAVES 2025, which runs until May 4. Unfortunately for eager fans, it won’t be made public just yet.

Produced on a massive scale, Ramayan features Yash as Ravana and is being jointly produced by DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. Adding to the grandeur, the music is composed by the legendary AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer. The first installment is scheduled for a Diwali 2026 release, with the second part following in Diwali 2027.

The wait is over! The title of Sharwanand upcoming movie has officially been revealed as Bhogi, marking the actor’s 38th film. Directed by Sampath Nandi and produced by KK Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts, this film is designed as a high-budget PAN-Indian project.

Unveiled through a stunning concept video called “First Spark,” the teaser gives us a glimpse into a story woven with fire, fate, and transformation. Sharwanand appears in a rugged new avatar, exuding intensity and purpose, as he steps into a role shaped by strength and spirit.

Shooting has kicked off in Hyderabad on a massive set spread across 20 acres—painstakingly built over six months. Set in the vintage backdrop of 1960s North Telangana–Maharashtra, Bhogi promises visual grandeur and powerful storytelling. The film stars Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi in key female roles.
