Kalki 2 Update: Nag Ashwin Reveals Shooting Plans and Key Character Focus

Director Nag Ashwin recently visited the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam to offer special prayers and took a moment to share an exciting Kalki 2 update with fans. Speaking to the media, he revealed that the script work for the highly anticipated sequel to Kalki 2898 AD is progressing rapidly, and shooting is expected to begin by the end of this year.

Nag Ashwin also confirmed that Kalki 2 will delve deeper into the characters of Karna, played by Prabhas, and Ashwatthama. He hinted that Karna will have more screen time in the sequel, making it a key focus of the storyline.

Kalki 2898 AD, which hit screens in June 2024, featured an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, and became a massive hit with over Rs 1,180 crores in global collections. The sequel is being produced by Ashwini Dutt, with Santhosh Narayanan returning as the music composer.

Arya 2 Re-Release Creates Huge Buzz Across Telugu States

The iconic duo Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Arya 2 has returned to theatres with a grand re-release, and fans are going wild! Released this morning across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the film’s early morning shows were sold out in minutes, especially in single-screen theatres.

At Hyderabad’s popular RTC X Roads, Arya 2 re-release is happening in both Sandhya 70mm and 35mm formats under tight security. This move comes after the tragic Pushpa 2 stampede incident at the same venue last year, where a woman lost her life. To ensure safety this time, police forces have been deployed at the theatre premises.

Originally released in 2009, Arya 2 stars Kajal Aggarwal and Navdeep alongside Allu Arjun, and features an evergreen music album by Devi Sri Prasad. Produced by BVSN Prasad, the film remains a fan-favorite and continues to attract crowds even after all these years.
