De Kock Leads Proteas to 9-wicket Win After India’s Batting Collapses

India captain Virat Kohli’s courageous move to bat first has backfired on his team as de Kock (79) guided South Africa to a nine-wicket win in the third T20 International to level the series here on Sunday.

To everyone’s shocker, Kohli elected to bat after the coin fell in his favor on one of the smallest grounds in India, always known to favor teams batting second in the shortest format.

firstly, the choice seemed to have worked well as India scored 54 for one in the powerplay at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The wicket of Dhawan gave the South Africans an opportunity, and they utilized it with both hands, picking out eight Indian wickets for 71 runs.

In their run chase, proteas captain de Kock looked in total control and smashed six fours and five sixes in his knock 52-ball unbeaten 79.

He further added 76 runs for the first wicket with Hendricks in 10 overs and then laid another 64 run partnership with Temba Bavuma. After scoring 19 in the first four overs, De Kock hit Navdeep Saini for two sixes, and there was no looking back from then onwards.

before, India was closed at 134 for nine by a well balanced South African attack.
Dhawan scored a 25-ball 36 and got India off to a quick start that produced them 54 runs in the powerplay.

Rabada leaked runs early on but came back picking three wickets, while there were two each for Bjorn Fortuin (2/19 in 3 overs) and Beuran Hendricks (2/14).
Playing for the first time in the series Hendricks impressed everyone by picking Rohit Sharma and Krunal Pandya.

Sharma got out early but he did put pace speedster Rabada under stress straightaway, played him for two four’s in his first over one over the covers and another one through extra cover.

That brought crowd king Kohli into the center but Dhawan was in charge and launched leg-spinner Shamsi with back-to-back sixes.

In the process, Dhawan mishit Shamsi, who had his revenge after Temba Bavuma finished a neat catch. Kohli, too, followed his Delhi partner as Phehlukwayo took a running catch in the deep, which bought a sight of relief to Rabada.

Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant, who wanted to up the run rate, threw away their wickets within two balls, leaving India in deep trouble at 92 for five in the 13th over.
After Pant fell to Fortuin’s smart bowling, Iyer stepped got stumped with a wide leg side.

It was yet another breakdown for Pant and once again to a left-arm spinner. After Santner accounted for him in the semi-final of the world cup, Fortuin has now got him twice in two games.

At the toss, Kohli’s thinking was that he doesn’t want the team to be in their comfort zone. Batting first or second, he wants his team to be in all situations with less than a year left for the T20 World Cup.

However, India couldn’t clinch the series as South Africa leveled the series 1-1 with a washout in Dharamshala.

5G explained: What does this future tech mean for you

Although we have some idea how 5G smartphone will look like, the technology as a whole is not yet fully understood by billions of people who are set to reap the benefits when it explodes – at home, office or on the go.

an 89 percent increase from 2019 revenue of $2.2 billion, according to Gartner.

Additionally, investments in 5G NR (New Radio) network infrastructure will account for 6 percent of the total wireless infrastructure revenue of communications service providers (CSPs) in 2019, and that this figure will reach 12 percent in 2020.

say Qualcomm, another 5G technology leader.

5G Services have already begun in the US, South Korea, and some European countries, including Switzerland, Finland, and the UK.
Although consumers represent the main segment driving 5G development, CSPs will increasingly aim 5G services at enterprises.

According to Borje Ekholm, President, and CEO of Ericsson, the company will switch on 5G globally in 2019, backed by a strong, secure and available portfolio.

5G will improve your network connection dramatically.

“You won’t have to deal with disruptions when sharing videos from crowded arenas, nor will high-quality videos on your newsfeed cause frustration from all the buffering,” says Ericsson.

More efficient capabilities and vastly increased capacity means you’ll enjoy better performance than ever before – 100 times faster data rates, supporting instant access to services and applications; network latency significantly reduced to 1-10 ms (milliseconds) and network slicing facility, making it possible to dedicate a unique part of a 5G network for a service.

The introduction of 5G will make it possible for communications service providers (CSPs) to improve their business in various ways.

Enabling new use cases, new services new business models and new eco-system, service providers can benefit from up to $619 billion market opportunity globally in 2026.

For the world-at-large, 5G is enabling a new wave of innovation.

It has the potential for changing the world, further powering the trends in tech today: IoT (Internet of Things), AI (Artificial Intelligence), AR (Augmented Reality), autonomous vehicles and many more.

However, with billions of devices in action, a growing strain will be placed on requirements of wireless networks.
The ongoing 5G research, however, will soon address this too.

Gambhir takes dig at Kohli, labels Rohit, Dhoni as reasons behind his captaincy success for India

Former Delhi cricketer Gautam Gambhir on Thursday commented that Indian skipper Virat Kohli can lead the team effectively as he has players like Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni with him in the team. He additionally added that the effectiveness of one’s captaincy skills is put to question when you lead an IPL team.

” a long way to go for him. Kohli was outstanding in the last World Cup but still, he has a long way to go. He captains so well in international cricket because he has got Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni for a long time. Captaincy qualifications are noticed when you are leading a franchise, when you do not have other players supporting you,” Gambhir told the media while interacting with the students of a university.

“I have been sincere whenever I have spoken about this. See what Rohit Sharma has produced for Mumbai Indians, see what Dhoni has obtained for Chennai Super Kings. If you relate that with RCB, the issues are there for everyone to see”, the former left-handed Indian opener added.

The former left-handed batsman voted for Rohit Sharma to play as an opener in the test format and believed that the Mumbai Indians is too good a player to be missing out from the playing side.

“I think KL Rahul has been given a much longer run than intimated. It is an opportunity for Rohit Sharma to open the batting in Test cricket. If you pick him in the team, he has to be a part of the playing XI. If he does not require in your playing XI, then there is no point in selecting him in the team of 16. He is high-grade of a player to be out of the playing side,” Gambhir stated.

Gambhir also revealed the fact that he considered the departure from cricket in 2007 after being left out of the 50-over World Cup squad.

NASA fails to locate Vikram lander due to ‘long shadows’ over landing site

As the Chandrayaan 2’s Vikram lander connectivity time is coming to an end, NASA’s orbiter has snapped images of the lunar area where the ISRO’s mission made an unfruitful effort to soft-land, a senior spokesperson with the U.S. space organization confirmed on September 19.

NASA’s orbiter which is known as Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has taken quite a lot of images during its rotation on September 17 of Vikram’s ventured landing site near the moon’s unexplored south pole.

“The LRO models are still being concocted,” said Hautaluoma, Senior statesman of Communications Team Lead at NASA, composed in an email.
The chance of building a touch with the lander has the closing date of September 21 after that the moon region will enter into a lunar nightfall.

LRO deputy mission scientist John Keller shared a statement confirming that the LRO camera snapped the images, according to the information in cnet.com. “The LROC team will analyze these new images and evaluate them to previous images to see if the lander is noticeable (it may be in shadow or outside the imaged area),” Mr. Keller was quoted as saying in the report.

NASA is verifying, analyzing and reviewing the images. It was near lunar sunset when the orbiter approved over, meaning large parts of the area were in shadow, the statement said.
According to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), the lander Vikram and rover Pragyan were supposed to be efficient only for 14 days from the day of their arrival.

At the start of the operation, ISRO said the mission time of the lander and the rover will be one lunar day which is equal to 14 Earth days, whereas the life of the orbiter will be the earth’s one year.

The instruments and the parts in the lander are not designed for extremely cold conditions. As the conditions on the moon might be very cold up to minus 200 degrees. So the lander and the rover might get damaged after the lunar day.

While not affecting gold prices today, worries of a no-deal Brexit eased somewhat today after European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said he believes a deal could be passed before the deadline.

I am doing everything to have a deal because I don’t like the idea of a no-deal because I think this would have catastrophic consequences for at least one year.”

His comments sent the British pound higher against the U.S. dollar but had little impact on the safe-haven gold today.

Aarogyasri will be applicable for AP people living in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai

Amaravati: AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has given a special focus on Aarogyasri scheme which was introduced by late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Before the 2019 general elections, CM YS Jagan has announced that Aarogyasri would be applicable for the hospital cost exceeding Rs 1,000. This decision will come into effect from April next year.

CM, who made major changes in the scheme, said that 150 super-specialty hospitals in Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Chennai would provide health services under Aarogyasri scheme starting from November 1. It’s said that as super specialty hospitals are few in AP, CM YS Jagan has taken this decision to provide better treatment to the poor of the state.

The previous TDP government has limited this health service only to AP. The hospitals in cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai were removed from the Aarogyasri scheme. This caused trouble for AP people who are living in these three cities to get treatment. CM YS Jagan said that the patients who are operated under the scheme would be paid Rs 225 per day till they recover and Rs 5,000 per month for the patients suffering from chronic diseases

From January 1 next year, the Aarogyasri scheme with new proposals will be implemented as a pilot project in the West Godavari district. Nearly 2,000 diseases are covered under new Aarogyasri scheme. After the pilot project, this scheme will be implemented in all districts by April 1, 2020. New Aarogyasri cards will be issued from December 21st.
