Babu Baga Busy Movie Review
Title: Babu Baga Busy
Star Cast: Avasarala Srinivas, Sreemukhi, Tejaswi
Director: Naveen Medaram
Producer: Abhishek Pictures
Actor-turned-director Srinivas Avasarala who has come up with an interesting movie Babu Baga Busy. The movie has been directed by Naveen and produced by Abhishek Nama. Music has been composed by Sunil Kashyap. It’s a brave decision to remake an adult film in Telugu.
Story:
The story of the film is based on the life of Madhav(Srinivasa Avasarala) who is a sex addict. After having a number of affairs in his life, Madhav finally decides to settle down with Radha. While Madhav’s past haunts him and doesn’t make him close to Radha whom he wanted to marry.
The movie seems all about How does Madhav i.e Avasarala Srinivas overcome all the troubles? How does he explain the complexities to Radha and convince her? and how does he win his love is the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
Youth attracting scenes
Comedy scenes in between Avasarala Srinivas and Priyadharshi
Avasarala Srinivas acting
Acting of Srimukhi and female lead roles
Minus Points:
BBB is a badly made remake of Hunter. The basic essence of the film is lost in translation as the emotions are spoilt completely.
Narration of the movie is completely failed
The climax of the film is also not convincing as the film ends in a hurry.
Technical Aspects:
This movie is the remake of Hindi movie Hunter which is an adult comedy based but the narration in Telugu version is blunt and quite weak. The cast did not actually do justice to the roles even though they tried hard enough. Music by Sunil was okay and not so appealing. However, the biggest saviour of this movie is the comedy track between Srini and Priyadarshi. Even the youth-appealing scenes would attract teenagers and youth.
Verdict :
When Tollywood audience is evolving by accepting different kinds of films these days, the makers of Babu Baga Busy had a good chance of taking the adult comedy genre to the next level. But sadly, this film has neither interesting adult content or the necessary comedy. This remake gone wrong has some romantic scenes which will be liked by the youth but for other audience. This concludes the film ends up as a horrible and disappointing watch this weekend and will surely get washed way in the huge wave of Baahubali.
