Actress Keerthy Suresh is finally making her return to Telugu cinema with the upcoming OTT release Uppu Kappurambu, premiering on Amazon Prime Video on July 4, 2025. Meanwhile, buzz around her possible role in Vijay Deverakonda’s much-anticipated project Rowdy Janardhana is heating up.
During a recent promotional event for Uppu Kappurambu, Keerthy was asked if she is part of Vijay Deverakonda’s Rowdy Janardhana, which is being directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and produced by Dil Raju. Her response was cryptic but telling:
“Dil Raju garu cheptharu.”
She neither confirmed nor denied the reports, but her evasive reply has only added fuel to the fire.
Industry insiders believe her subtle hint could mean that she is indeed part of the film and that an official announcement may be on the way from Dil Raju himself.
Though Keerthy and Vijay Deverakonda have been associated with the same projects—like Mahanati, Jathi Ratnalu, and Kalki 2898 AD—they have never shared actual screen space. If confirmed, Rowdy Janardhana will mark their first full-fledged pairing, raising anticipation among fans.
Keerthy’s next release is the OTT drama Uppu Kappurambu, where she stars alongside Suhaas. Directed by Ani Sasi and produced by Radhika Lavu, the film will premiere globally on Amazon Prime Video on July 4.
With Uppu Kappurambu launching her back into Telugu content and Rowdy Janardhana possibly being her next big-screen venture, 2025 is shaping up to be Keerthy Suresh’s strong comeback in Tollywood.
There is no debating the fact that Jr. NTR is one of the most celebrated and influential superstars in Indian cinema. With a career rooted deeply in Telugu cinema and a massive fan following, his straight Hindi debut with YRF’s War 2 is a monumental step. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, this film is being pitched as a high-octane, pan-India spectacle that unites Hrithik Roshan and NTR in a cinematic face-off like never before.
Speaking about his experience directing War 2, Ayan said:
“It is a huge responsibility to take forward a hugely loved franchise like War and leave your own mark on it. I saw directing War 2 as a relishing opportunity to give a hat-tip to the first film. One has to take what has been set and then make the fans of these gigantic superstars go on a new journey that hopefully leaves them hungry for more.”
He also stressed the meticulous planning that went into the project:
“The maximum time was spent on the action set pieces and crafting the storyline and the conflict, which was needed to mount the face-off between Hrithik and NTR.”
Ayan is known for soulful dramas like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Wake Up Sid, but War 2 is a new beast entirely—a slick action thriller with pressure to live up to the legacy of YRF’s spy universe.
This marks the first time Ayan is working with a mass superstar like NTR, who brings both intensity and charisma to every role. Fans are naturally curious—can Ayan craft a role that showcases NTR’s mass appeal and emotional range? The success of War 2 could hinge on how well NTR is written, presented, and integrated into the franchise’s adrenaline-charged world.
From early buzz, it’s clear the climactic Hrithik-NTR face-off is being designed as the soul of the film. If done right, it could redefine action stardom in Indian cinema.
War 2 is not just a sequel; it’s a collision of two cinematic titans. While Hrithik returns as the stylish and mysterious Kabir, NTR enters Bollywood’s biggest franchise with massive expectations riding on his shoulders. For Ayan Mukerji, this film is more than a directorial assignment—it’s a test of range, control, and his ability to marry mass appeal with cinematic storytelling.
Will Ayan elevate Jr. NTR’s image in Hindi cinema, or will this be a missed opportunity? We’ll know soon—but for now, the hype is real.

Deva (Dhanush), a beggar on the streets of Tirupati, is unknowingly roped into a massive corporate scam orchestrated by ruthless billionaire Neeraj Chopra (Jim Sarbh). Tasked with executing the scheme is Deepak (Nagarjuna), a disgraced ex-CBI officer. But when Deva escapes, the balance shifts. What unfolds is a gripping, emotionally charged game of survival, morality, and power.
Sekhar Kammula Breaks the Mold
Stepping far from his usual comfort zone of feel-good romances, Sekhar Kammula crafts an emotionally tense socio-political thriller that is raw, grounded, and deeply human. Kuberaa takes a sharp look at the class divide without sounding preachy, thanks to sharp dialogues, symbolic storytelling, and a focused screenplay.
Dhanush at His Best
As Deva, Dhanush delivers a phenomenal performance. His portrayal is authentic and restrained, fully immersing himself in the character of a marginalized, voiceless man caught in the gears of power.
Nagarjuna’s Comeback in Grey
Nagarjuna sheds his star image, embracing the morally complex role of Deepak. His internal conflict is played with nuance and sincerity.
Supporting Brilliance
Jim Sarbh is intense and convincing, Rashmika lends charm and grounding, and every supporting character contributes meaningfully to the narrative.
Technical Strength
Devi Sri Prasad’s score is minimal yet powerful, with “Naadi Naadi” and “Maadi Maadi” acting as thematic pillars.
Niketh Bommi’s cinematography adds depth and tone to every frame.
Chaitanya Pingali’s writing is sharp and purpose-driven.
High production quality enhances realism.
The first act’s pacing drags slightly.
Some logical inconsistencies (like the villain’s obsession with tracking a beggar) require suspension of disbelief.
Rashmika’s role could’ve had more agency.
Kuberaa is Sekhar Kammula’s most daring film to date, combining realism, symbolism, and emotional depth. With stellar performances, particularly by Dhanush and Nagarjuna, and a thought-provoking narrative, Kuberaa sets a new benchmark for mainstream Telugu cinema. It may not be perfect, but it is powerful, purposeful, and unforgettable.
