Union Minister Nitin Gadkari To Foundation For Four Projects

Minister for Road Transport and Highway of India, Nitin Gadkari has laid the foundation stone for key infrastructure projects in Hyderabad. From the last few months, the Telangana Sarkar has been taking various measures to reduce the traffic woes in the city. The recent construction of underpasses across the city is one such measure.
The Cabinet minister laid the foundation stone for the flyover construction in Amberpet and Uppal Flyovers, along with Aramghar – Medak road extension works, and skyway works in the city.
At an estimated cost of Rs 426. 52 crores, 62.92 Km of double-lane national highway in Medak district from the ORR, and 10.48 Km of 6-lane highway along the Hyderabad – Bangalore NH in the Aramghar – Shamshabad sector will be constructed.
Similarly, 6.25 km of elevated 6-lane expressway corridor will be constructed from Sri Ramana Theatre in Amberpet to Chey Number Junction, and Uppal Junction to CPRI (along with the Warangal Highway).
Officials expect that these measures will greatly reduce the traffic owes in the respective regions. In the coming few months, the Telangana Sarkar is planning for some more road extension and Elevated Expressway Corridor construction.
