Union Proposes 6,000 Crore Arrears Payment for Revenue Staff:

The President of the Andhra Pradesh Revenue Services Association, Bopparaju Venkateswarlu, announced on Tuesday that the state government has agreed to disburse 6,000 crore in overdue payments to revenue employees, covering various categories, by the end of September.

Venkateswarlu made this announcement during a meeting he organized for associate employees. He mentioned that a meeting of the associate Employees’ Council, which will include representatives from village associate employees or assistants to deputy collectors, is scheduled for October 1 at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram in Vijayawada.

The association’s president also disclosed that the upcoming meeting will be attended by Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao and CCLA G. Sai Prasad. He emphasized that district collectors have been assigning additional responsibilities to associate officials, even if they are unrelated to their department. This has led to increased stress and health issues among associate employees.
