UP woman Gets ‘Triple Talaq’ For Attending Modi’s Rally

UP woman alleges her husband gave her triple talaq after she went to attend a rally that was organized to thank PM Narendra Modi, over his government’s plan to bring in legislation to ban the instant triple talaq. The woman says, she got a divorce after she attended a ‘Dhanyavad Rally’.
Her husband, however, denied the allegations made by her and said, he divorced her due to her extramarital affair. But the UP woman retaliated saying it is her husband who is having an affair and that too with his aunt and he even had a son with her.
When I came back from the rally he said even the Prime Minister cannot do anything to harm him and gave me triple talaq. The victim Fayra said, he had beaten her and her child and threw them out of the house. Danish, the victim’s husband said, it has got nothing to do with Modi ji’s rally and that his wife is lying and she always did things like wearing jeans which annoyed him. He says, he decided not to keep his wife with him anymore.
Surprisingly, the couple had a love marriage in April 2016. The rally to thank Modi was organized by Farhat Naqvi, sister of Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, who is a social activist and runs an NGO.
