White House, on Saturday, said in a statement that if Pakistan does not take action in a more lawful way to detain back Saeed and charge him for his crimes, it may have to face repercussions for bilateral relations and for Pakistan’s global reputation. It said, that Islamabad should charge militant accused of masterminding a 2008 assault in Mumbai, India.

The White House said in a statement, Pakistan’s commitment to fighting international terrorism sends a deeply troubling message and contradicts to the claims Pakistan made that it will not provide refuge for terrorists on its soil.

As the world reacted severely, Saeed celebrated his release with sweets and cake cutting in Pakistan. He walked free on Friday after his house arrest ended without any charged. The JuD head, carries on his head a reward of USD 10 million, for his role in terror activities was set free by the Lahore High Court on the completion of his 30- day house arrest that expired last night.

Immediately after his release he said, he is fighting for Kashmir and he is happy that all allegations on him proved to be wrong and he accused, India made baseless allegations against him but he was proved innocent. He also said, he was only detained due to pressure from India through the United States.
