Varun Tej’s upcoming film ‘Gandeevadhari Arjuna’ will include a classic muscle car
The upcoming Telugu film ‘Gandeevadhari Arjuna,’ starring actor Varun Tej and directed by Praveen Sattaru, is going all out to impress the audience with style and elegance. The movie features a vintage car, a 1969 Mustang Mach 1, which plays a crucial role in the film’s action sequences.

The director had the idea to have the protagonist travel in a classic muscle car, and after extensive research, he chose the Mustang. He spent three months tracking down and acquiring the car from an 80-year-old man in the UK who had owned it since his teens.
The car, affectionately named ‘Baby,’ is set to have significant importance in the protagonist’s journey throughout the film. To suit the film’s requirements, the Mustang Mach 1 underwent customizations in the UK, including a thin steering wheel, a gear rod with a skull, army stickers on the body, and a new engine. The car also received a fresh paint job as part of its makeover, with the entire customization process taking over 30 days to complete.
The director draws a parallel between the Mustang Mach 1 and the chariot (Kapi Dhwaja) of Arjuna in the Kurukshetra War, emphasizing that the car reflects the hero’s character arc and attitude in the film.
With such attention to detail and a vintage car taking center stage, ‘Gandeevadhari Arjuna’ promises to be an action-packed and visually stunning film.
