Vijay Sethupathi was expected to play the villain’s role in ‘Pushpa’

As we know Tamil star hero Vijay Sethupathi was expected to play the villain’s role in Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s upcoming film ‘Pushpa‘. Sethupathi’s name was attached to the film right from the beginning and everything was going great till the film was planned only in Telugu. The problems started to arise when this project became pan Indian.

As per sources, Vijay Sethupathi is willing to play a negative role in all the languages except in Tamil. As he is a star hero in Kollywood, he is reluctant to play the antagonist’s role and asked to makers to find another guy in replace him in Tamil.

A film made in five languages will become even more difficult if the makers have to shoot it with different actors. It takes a lot of time and money to do that. So, the makers are in search of a suitable actor that can fit the bill and is willing to play the role in all the languages as per sources. News is that they are looking for popular Hindi actors so that it would benefit its Bollywood prospects.

‘Pushpa’ is a film which runs on a backdrop of red sanders smuggling in Chittoor district. Allu Arjun will be seen as a lorry driver and Rashmika is the heroine in this flick.
