OTT Update: Vijay Sethupathi–Rukmini Vasanth’s Ace Now Streaming on Amazon Prime Video
Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi’s latest film Ace may not have impressed at the box office, but it’s now looking to win hearts in the digital space. Directed and produced by Arumuga Kumar, Ace is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video in both Tamil and Telugu.
The film also marks the Tamil debut of Rukmini Vasanth, known for her stellar performance in the Kannada film Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati.
Ace is a quirky entertainer featuring a mix of comedy, emotion, and social commentary. It also stars Yogi Babu, Babloo Prithveeraj, B. S. Avinash, and Divya Pillai in pivotal roles. The film’s music and background score were handled by Justin Prabhakaran and Sam CS, respectively.
Although the film underperformed in theatres, the OTT release might just give it a second wind. With Vijay Sethupathi’s loyal fanbase and growing interest in offbeat content, Ace could find new appreciation online.
