Tuesday saw the arrest of actor Vinayakan, who is best known for his part in the movie “Jailer,” by the Kerala police on suspicion of causing a disturbance at a Kochi police station while under the influence of alcohol.
Following reports of disruptive behavior at his apartment, the police had summoned the actor, and the incident took place at the Ernakulam Town North police station in the evening.
A senior police officer subsequently confirmed that Vinayakan had been arrested for causing a disturbance at the police station. In addition, the officer reported that Vinayakan was transported to a nearby hospital for an obligatory medical examination while intoxicated.
Recall that the actor previously shared a video on social media that was criticized for being offensive and disrespectful after former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy passed away.
