Viraat floating Hotel in Visakhapatnam!

People all over India and abroad know Visakhapatnam for its beautiful port, it is also a major hub in South Asia. Apart from this, it is famous for its beautiful beaches and picturesque locations. It is already a major tourist attraction but soon Warship INS Viraat will soon be remodelled into a ‘Floating Museum-cum-Hotel’.
Incidentally, Indian Navy pursued 750 acres from the AP Government to inaugurate a world-class museum in the Warship which is going to occupy an area of up to 20 acres with anchoring. The project’s cost estimates anywhere around Rs.1000 crore. In the first phase, Rs.300 crore will be sanctioned for this project. The services of the INS Viraat Warship is likely to be offering near yarada or Bhimili beach.
INS Viraat was first commissioned on May 12th, 1987 and later decommissioned by the Navy on July 23rd, 2016. With its reputation and historical importance, Governments of Goa and Maharashtra competed to bring the Warship to their states to make it a major tourist attraction. While Andhra Pradesh Government managed it quite well and emerged victorious to convince center in the end.
