Vishnu Manchu’s long-awaited dream project, Kannappa, has faced an unexpected delay. The film, which boasts a star-studded cast including Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal, was initially scheduled to release on April 25, 2025. However, the latest update confirms that the Kannappa release date has been postponed indefinitely.
Taking to social media, Vishnu Manchu addressed the delay, expressing the team’s dedication to delivering a world-class cinematic experience. He mentioned that the film requires a few more weeks for completion to meet the highest production standards.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa also features Mohan Babu, Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, and Brahmanandam in key roles. Produced by 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment, the music is composed by Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma.
