The latest update confirms that Laila will premiere on Aha from March 7, 2025. The film follows a short theatrical window of just three weeks before its digital debut.
A Controversial Experiment
For the first time in his career, Vishwak Sen appeared in a lady get-up, which was widely publicized. However, this unique aspect couldn’t save the film from negative reviews. Laila became the lowest-grossing film of the actor’s career, leading him to issue a heartfelt apology to fans.
Directed by Ram Narayan, the film features Akanksha Sharma as the female lead. It is produced by Sahu Garapati under Shine Screens, with Leon James composing the music.
