Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently working on Viswambhara, touted as one of the most ambitious and expensive projects of his career. As production continues, the team is investing heavily in enhancing the film’s visual grandeur to meet sky-high expectations.
In recent months, there was considerable speculation regarding the film’s financial status, with rumors suggesting a lack of buyers for its satellite and digital rights. However, all those concerns have now been laid to rest.
According to the latest reports, ZEE Network has officially acquired the satellite (television) rights to Viswambhara for a hefty price, ensuring that the film secures a strong broadcast partner. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime Video has picked up the digital streaming rights, reportedly for a significant sum as well.
These deals have not only boosted industry confidence in the film but have also helped pull it out of a potential financial crunch. With both major rights sold, Viswambhara is now back on solid ground financially.
While the OTT and TV deals are now locked, the spotlight shifts to the film’s theatrical release. Though initially expected in the second half of 2025, strong rumors indicate the release might be postponed to early 2026 due to pending VFX and production schedules.
Viswambhara is expected to be a visual spectacle, and with two top content partners on board, anticipation around its release is growing stronger than ever.
