War 2 & Coolie Bookings Open in Telangana at Regular Prices
Telangana movie lovers have reason to celebrate — bookings for the much-awaited Independence Day weekend releases, War 2 and Coolie, are now live in select theatres. More cinemas across the state will soon list shows on ticketing platforms.
In a move welcomed by fans, the Telangana government has not approved ticket rate hikes for these biggies. Bookings have opened at regular prices — ₹177 for single screens and ₹295 for multiplexes. However, there will be no early morning shows; both films will start from 7 AM.
Sources say that going forward, dubbed films in Telangana will not be granted ticket price enhancements. With affordable rates in place, trade analysts expect strong footfalls — something crucial in the current box office climate.
Coolie, starring superstar Rajinikanth, and War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan and NTR, have been sold for premium rates in the Nizam region. The big question now is how these star-studded films will perform over the extended holiday weekend.
