War 2 Box Office Collection: Two Days Worldwide
The highly anticipated spy action entertainer War 2, starring NTR and Hrithik Roshan, is now running in theatres. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film has received mixed to negative reviews, but that hasn’t stopped it from posting solid numbers at the box office.
At the domestic box office, the Hindi version opened with ₹28.5 Cr nett. On Independence Day (Day 2), the film witnessed excellent growth, minting ₹44 Cr nett, taking its two-day Hindi total to ₹72.5 Cr nett.
Worldwide Performance
On the global front, War 2 grossed nearly ₹165 Cr in two days. The film opened with ₹84 Cr gross worldwide on Day 1 and continued strongly on Day 2 with collections in a similar range.
While the Hindi version showed a good upward trend, the Telugu version saw slight drops after the opening, which trade experts say is quite normal for a dubbed release.
