WhatsApp is introducing media caption editing
WhatsApp has introduced a new update (version 23.16.72) for iOS users, which brings several new features, including the ability to edit captions for media messages. Previously, while WhatsApp allowed editing of sent text messages, it didn’t provide the option to edit captions for media messages. This is changing with the latest update.
According to reports from WaBetaInfo, the new feature enables users to modify captions for media messages that have already been sent. This enhancement allows users to correct typos or provide additional context to their media messages.
To edit a media message’s caption, users can follow a simple process: tap and hold on to the message, which will prompt a menu to appear, offering the option to edit the caption. This functionality mirrors the process for editing regular text messages in WhatsApp.
