While Akhil is a well-known figure in Telugu cinema, his bride, Zainab Ravdjee, has mostly stayed away from the limelight until now. A native of Hyderabad, Zainab is an accomplished artist specializing in abstract paintings and custom fragrance design. She has previously held a painting exhibition titled Reflection in Hyderabad and even had a minor role in the film Meenakshi: A Tale of Three Cities.

The couple dated for over three years before getting engaged on November 26, 2024. Their wedding was postponed due to Akhil’s brother Naga Chaitanya’s own wedding preparations. Naga Chaitanya married actress Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024.
This marriage marks Akhil’s second engagement. His earlier engagement with Shriya Bhupal, granddaughter of industrialist GVK Reddy, was called off in 2016 for undisclosed reasons.
