The IPL has changed the face of cricket internationally. Other cricket boards also came up with their respective T20 leagues like IPL. However, no other T20 league saw the success IPL has seen. But still, the cricket played in those leagues gave rise to international cricket stars, and showcased many OMG moments. Currently, one such moment grabbed the attention of every cricket lover. A catch during Big Bash league is currently being hailed as the world’s greatest catch.

The moment took place during the match between Adelaide Strikers vs Melbourne Renegades. Adelaide managed to put a total of 173/5 in 20 overs. During the 16 over of Melbourne batting innings, Dwayne Bravo was caught in the deep after a two fielders took one of the world’s greatest catch. Ben Laughlin caught the ball in deep cover, with inches away from the boundary. Realizing that, he would soon lose his balance, he threw the ball towards Weatherald who was at distance. Shockingly, a diving effort from Weatherald meant, the catch was taken properly.

The whole stadium erupted after witnessing (one of the) world’s greatest catch. The video of the catch became viral across all social networking platforms. Adelaide Strikers won the match, after restricting Melbourne Renegades to 147/7 in 20 overs.
