The Yuvaneta of AP, Y.S Jagan is busy touring the Godavari Districts on a part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra. However, he faced his first bitter experience which he never even expected this bad agitation against him.
Dwelling into the details, the Opposition leader Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy is intelligent enough not to indulge in any controversies till date. Even at the time of Bifurcation, he cleared his stand for United AP knowing that his party will not survive in Telangana. But this Son of late CM YSR failed to acknowledge the fact that rising demand for BC Reservation is growing on par to the demand of Special Status. Ignoring this issue for all these years, Jagan never did any promise to the BC’s who are a major vote bank to any party. In his recent road show, the AP Kapu Leaders agitated and questioned Jagan on his stand on the issue.
They went further and demanded Jagan to announce something positive towards BCs by fighting against the TDP Government. At one side, Pawan Kalyan is grabbing all the limelight from the BCs and also he belongs to the same caste even though he doesn’t choose to raise his caste concept. The same BCs made TDP lose in 2009 when Chiru floated Praja Rajyam party. Now the same BCs became crucial for any party including YSRCP. With his new experience, Jagan has summoned his party bigwigs to take a call such that they not only win the BC vote bank but also include some of their leaders to contest under party’s flag.
Political analysts are predicting that the BC reservation would play a very prominent role in the upcoming elections. For sure they are with Janasena for now but anything would happen in an upcoming couple of months prior to the 2019 elections. It is time for all the AP state parties to rework on their parties’ manifestos.
