Box Office Wonder: Yash Dominates King Khan

As many as five flicks have released this month’s 21st but only the Kannada wonder KGF is declared as the winner for its stupendous collections in all the regions. This success has even dominated the Superstar Shahrukh Khan shocking the trade analysts.Shahrukh Khan’s Zero which carried many expectations got bombed in Bollywood. Continuing his poor form, SRK failed to register good openings at least and the flick became the poorest opener in the career of SRK as far as trade is concerned. By the end of Zero’s first weekend, the flick collected a total of 57.1 crores of shares worldwide but the Yash’s KGF collected almost 58 crores summing all the versions of its release. Thanks to Rajamouli who promoted this flick without any profit, KGF got solid openings in all the released versions. In Telugu, the distributors are happy by this flick’s run in theatres. This is said to be a huge humiliation for King Khan after many years.On the flip side, the other Telugu releases Padi Padi Leche Manasu and Anthariksham too bagged mixed talks. Including Zero, the year’s end is pocketed by Yash with his superhit KGF leaving other movies in losses.
