Yediyurappa PA who attempted suicide out of danger

Date:

M. S. Ramaiah hospital on Saturday declared Karnataka Chief Minister, B. S. Yediyurappa’s personal assistant, N. R. Santosh as out of danger and is all likely to shift from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to the general ward by evening.

Santhosh, a 31-year-old resident of Dollar’s Colony in the city, was rushed to hospital after he made an alleged attempt to commit suicide by consuming about a dozen sleeping pills on Friday late at night.

The incident reportedly came to light when Santosh’s wife, Jhanavi went to his room to ask him what to cook for the dinner, the police said.

Jhanavi immediately rushed him to the hospital – M. S. Ramaiah super specialty hospital, where he was admitted and administered treatment.

On Saturday morning, the Hospital issued a statement that said Santosh was out of danger and he even had his breakfast. “He is out of danger and he will be soon shifted from ICU to the general ward,” the statement stated.

Late on Friday night, after hearing the news, Chief Minister, B. S. Yediyurappa had rushed to the hospital to console Santhosh and his wife, as they are also relatives to him.

Yediyurappa told the media that Santosh had met him on Friday morning and both went walking together and he did not find Santosh as a dejected person. “He was the usual self. He was happy with me. At present he is out of danger,” he had told the media.

While speaking to reporters Santhosh’s wife Jhanavi last night had claimed that she was a happy family and it was not a family problem but it appears that to do something with politics. She did not elaborate further.
