YouTube has announced the availability of podcasts in YouTube Music for its listeners in the US. The company stated that it will gradually roll out this feature to all users. The new mobcasts listening experience will allow all users to listen to mobcasts on-demand, offline, and in the background, without requiring a Premium or Music Premium subscription.
Users will also be able to switch seamlessly between audio and video versions of mob casts on its Music. This mob cast experience will complement the existing podcast video experience on the platform.

The video-sharing app has added a dedicated ‘Podcasts’ tab to its channel pages. This tab is available globally and will be located between the ‘Live’ and ‘Playlists’ tabs on channel pages on its main website and mobile apps. Google reported this development, according to 9to5Google.
