As the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections approach in Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy unveiled the YSR Congress Party’s YSRCP manifesto, termed Navaratnalu Plus, at the Tadepalli camp office in Vijayawada. Promising enhancements to existing schemes like welfare pensions, the CM pledged to raise pensions to Rs 3,500 per month and relocate the state’s executive capital to Visakhapatnam, with Amaravati as the legislative capital and Kurnool as the judicial capital.
In a bid to bolster support, Reddy outlined plans to increase financial aid for farmers, mothers under the Amma Vodi scheme, and women beneficiaries of YSR Cheyutha and YSR Kapu Nestham, aiming to build on the YSRCP’s previous landslide victory in the state.
