Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, the State General Secretary of YCP and Government Advisor, addressed the detention of former CM Chandrababu Naidu, providing insights into the situation. Chandrababu Naidu was taken into custody in Nandyala and later moved to Vijayawada by CID officials. Sajjala asserted that certain TDP leaders were deliberately creating confusion around CBN’S arrest to divert attention from the central issue.
He stressed that there was no behind Naidu’s apprehension, describing the primary concern as an economic offense, particularly related to a scheme-related scandal that had received criticism. He mentioned that the case against Naidu was backed by substantial evidence.
Sajjala also pointed out that financial crimes typically don’t require advance notice and indicated that CBN’s involvement in this specific scandal was widely acknowledged.
