Vijay Devarakonda mesmerizes Kannada fans!

After creating a sensation with ‘Arjun Reddy’ in Tollywood, it looks like hero Vijay Devarakonda has also learned the knack of attracting the neighboring state audience and film fraternity. He attended as chief guest to the audio release of the Kannada film ‘Chamak’. ‘Golden star’ Ganesh and Kirik Party Saanvi are the hero and heroine in the film.
Speaking at the event, Vijay Devarakonda said, ‘after my film, Pelli Choopulu ran for 100 days, with a hint of proudness, I googled about Golden Star Ganesh. I was shocked to know that his film ran for 800 days.’ The Arjun Reddy hero went on to praise and laud hero Ganesh in the speech.
‘The state of Karnataka has introduced great cricketers and actors to the nation. Cricketers like Anil Kumble, Javagal Srinath, Rahul Dravid, Venkatesh Prasad and many others have come from Tamil Nadu. Even film stars like Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai, and even Anushka Shetty are from Karnataka. And interestingly, even heroine Rashmika in my film ‘Ye Manthram Vesave’ is a Kannadiga girl,’ said Vijay Devarakonda showering praises on the state of Karnataka.
Though it seemed like Vijay Devarakonda wanted to impress the people of Karnataka, whatever he said still remains true. Even former CM of Tamil Nadu, late Jayalalithaa, top Telugu actresses like B. Sarojini Devi and Soundarya are from Karnataka.
