20 trains are canceled by Western Railways due to poor ridership

Because of the low passenger count, Western Railways cancels 20 services.

The Western Railway has decided to cancel 20 special trains due to low passenger occupancy. The Western Railway cancellations are scheduled for specific periods. Some of the affected trains include the 09183 Mumbai Central-Varanasi weekly train, which will not operate between July 19 and August 30. Similarly, the 09184 Banaras-Mumbai weekly train will be cancelled from July 21 to September 1.

Other affected trains include the 09417 Ahmedabad-Patna weekly train (July 24 to August 28), 09418 Patna-Ahmedabad weekly train (July 25 to August 29), 09421 Ahmedabad-Darbhanga weekly train (July 17 to August 28), 09422 Darbhanga-Ahmedabad weekly train (July 19 to August 30), and 09413 Ahmedabad-Samastipur weekly train (July 18 and August 29). Similarly, the 09414 Samastipur-Ahmedabad weekly train will not run from July 20 to August 31.

Additionally, Western Railway cancelled trains are the 09005 Vapi-Izzatnagar bi-weekly train will be cancelled from July 16 to August 27, and the corresponding 09006 Izzatnagar-Vapi bi-weekly train will not operate between July 17 and August 28. The 09025 Valsad-Danapur weekly train will be cancelled from July 24 to August 28, and the 09026 Danapur-Valsad weekly train will not run between July 25 and August 29. The 09097 Danapur-Jammu Tawi weekly train is cancelled from July 17 to August 28, along with its counterpart, the 09098 Jammu Tawi-Danapur weekly train, which will not operate from July 18 to August 29.

Furthermore, the 09343 Dr Ambedkar Nagar-Patna weekly train will be cancelled from July 21 to August 25, and the 09344 Patna-Ambedkar Nagar weekly train will not run on July 22 and August 26. The 09117 Surat-Subedarganj weekly train will be cancelled on July 21 and August 25, while the 09118 Subedarganj-Surat weekly train will not operate from July 22 to August 26. Lastly, the 09321 Indore-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra weekly train will be cancelled from July 26 to August 30, and the 09322 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Indore Weekly train will not run between July 28 and September 1.
