Tollywood is slowly getting adapted to the changing trends of International Cinema. New makers are pouring in with good and new kind of scripts to make Tollywood, a better Film Industry in India.Likewise, last year which became a stage for some newcomers like Sandeep Reddy Vanga of Arjun Reddy fame and few others, 2018 to continue the new makers Hawa. We are just in the second month of the new year and already four new directors got introduced and bagged their results. Out of these four, three scored success and one ended up with a flop.

He is none other than the writer turned director Vikram Sirikonda. His flick Touch Chesi Chudu despite huge buzz became a flop in its full run. Other three debutants saw utmost encouragement from movie lovers. One among the three is the writer turned director Venki Atluri. Tholi Prema has given a brilliant opening to his career as a director and he is now in talks with big production companies. Another maker is Venki Kandukuri of Chalo fame. He intelligently used Naga Shaurya’s fame and cooked feel-good love entertainer. The movie got decent run at the box office and fetched profits to the makers. Last but not the least is the most discussed director Prasanth Varma. His Awe is still making a buzz on the social networking sites and media. Along with the producer Nani, this newcomer is getting appreciation from all the corners of the industry for introducing a new genre to time-tested formulated Telugu Cinema.

This is just the beginning and still, there are more newcomers to arrive in T-town this year. Another star writer Vakkantham Vamsi is turning into a director with Naa Peru Surya starring Allu Arjun. This is said to be a healthy change in Telugu Movie Industry where both makers and Audience welcoming new Cinema.
