3 Properties of Dawood Ibrahim fetch Rs. 11.58 crore in an auction!

Multiple properties belonging to Dawood Ibrahim have been seized by the government authorities under the SAFEMA (Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators) Act almost 15 years ago.
Three properties belonging to the mafia don have been auctioned by the Excise officials on Tuesday. ‘The three properties which were in a derelict condition fetched Rs. 11.58 Crores in the auction,’ said an Excise Official. The properties were bought by the SBUT – Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust for its redevelopment project.
Hotel Raunaq Afroz (known as Delhi Zaika) was auctioned for Rs. 4.53 Crore, while the 6-Room Damarwala Building fetched Rs. 3.53 crore in the auction. The third property, Shabnam Guest House was bought for Rs. 3.52 Crore. 12 bidders took part in this auction that started at 10:00 am on Tuesday and concluded at 12 noon.
