For the first time in her career, pretty diva Kajal Aggarwal would be reportedly essaying the role of a cop in her upcoming multi-lingual movie to be produced by actor-producer Rana Daggupati. “Kajal has given her nod to play an author-backed role in Rana’s production, but things are being worked out, ” says a source, close to the unit. Actually, Rana approached dusky actress Nayantara and Keerthy Suresh to play the lead in the official remake of a gripping Korean movie which revolves around drug mafia to be helmed by a new director.

“Kajal didn’t know about other actresses but she agreed to do the film impressed with the engaging storyline,” says the source and adds, “It is being planned to be made in Tamil-Telugu languages and shooting is expected to begin from January and pre-production work is going on,” Besides Tamil and Telugu industries, Kajal has wowed Hindi film viewers with her performances in films like ‘Singham’ and ‘Special 26’ and this cop story would also be made in Hindi language. “It is too early to talk about Hindi version,” the source concludes.

Actually, Kajal teamed up with new-age star Rana Daggupati in blockbuster ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ and set the screen on fire. Now, she will be doing a big-ticket movie under his production which is meant to promote young talent and new stories.
