After Bhagmathi, Ashok Next An Internatioanl Period Flick

The director Ashok proved his mettle by directing a thriller like Bhagmati featuring lady superstar Anushka. He is now all set to direct an international venture which is based on real-life instances to thrill the International audience.

Ashok who ventured into Tollywood with a memorable flick like Pilla Jamindar has scored his first flop with Sukumarudu. However, he took more than enough time and hit the screens hard with thriller Bhagmati. The movie not only showcased his narration skills but also minted money to the producers. For his next, he took the responsibility of directing a historical event which has links to India.

The Pen N Camera International Productions and Canadian Film Council are jointly venturing this project with a decent budget. Titled as 1914 Komagata Maru, this flick is all about the high drama happened in the Japanese ship which stayed in Canadian waters as the entry was denied by Canadian Officials. This Steam Engine ship has 376 passengers from India and the makers are dedicating this flick to all of them. Going by all these details, it is quite evident that the passengers have encountered some terrible experiences while they were in waters.

This international project will be made in multiple languages with International artists. For now, the producers only revealed the first look of this ship along with its title. More details of this flick will be out soon as the pre-production work has already begun.
