Airtel Launches New 6-Month Rs 995 Plan With Data Benefits

It looks like the price-war ignited by Reliance JIO is not going to subside any soon. Already, all the cellular companies have slashed their tariffs for both data and voice calls. After the rates have gone to their ‘minimum’, the cellular companies are gearing for a ‘validity’ fight. Along with the price of special packs, the validity of those packs is taken into consideration by many users.
Keeping this in mind, the cellular companies are coming up with ‘extended’ validity packs. Telugu Bullet already reported that BSNL is coming with a Rs 999/- pack, promising 1GB Data/day at 3G speeds, for one complete year.
Adding to this, even Airtel came up with a unique long-validity offer. According to the latest offer, Airtel offers unlimited calls (local & STD) with a validity period of 180 days. During this period, along with the unlimited calls, the users also get 100 SMS/day, and 1GB 3G/4G Data per month.
Airtel believes that it can lure its ‘premium’ customer base with the latest offer, and force them to buy an additional pack for extended data usage. Irrespective whether the offers are bringing new users on board to the cellular companies, the users are benefiting the most.
