Akhil Akkineni’s latest release, ‘Agent,’ hit theatres today in Telugu. Directed by Surender Reddy, the movie is a pan-Indian spy action thriller featuring Akhil as a rogue agent named Ramakrishna. He is joined by Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead, while senior Malayalam actor Mammootty portrays the role of a RAW officer and Dino Morea plays the antagonist.
The movie’s plot revolves around Ramakrishna, an ethical hacker who always wanted to become an specific person. He uses his hacking skills to convince RAW chief Mahadev to let him join the agency. Together, they fight against The God, a ruthless don who controls the entire international syndicate. The film has a gripping storyline with some unexpected twists, especially in the second half.
This movie is an action-packed thriller with some of the best-designed action scenes, making it a visual treat for the audience. Akhil, Mammootty, and Dino Morea deliver powerful performances, making them an impressive cast choice for their respective roles. Akhil’s performance as Ramakrishna is his best to date, making the movie a must-watch for all action thriller fans.
