In Delhi, a manager for Amazon was shot and killed.

In northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura area, a 36-year-old man, employed as a senior manager at the e-commerce giant Amazon, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 pm on Tuesday when a group of five unidentified individuals opened fire on Harpreet Gill (36) and his relative Govind Singh (32) in Subhash Vihar. Tragically, Gill sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was declared dead upon arrival at Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital. His relative was injured and receiving medical treatment.

Harpreet Gill, a Bhajanpura resident, held a senior management position at Amazon. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Joy Tirkey, the bullet entered his head from behind the ear on the right side and exited on the other side.

Govind Singh, who also resides in Bhajanpura and owns an eatery in the area, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital. The two victims were riding a motorcycle when the assailants, riding a scooter and another motorcycle, intercepted them and opened fire.

The police are currently analyzing CCTV footage from the area to identify the attackers, while the motive behind the shooting is still under investigation. A murder case has been registered by the police.
