Three bodies were found suspiciously in the premises of the Shivayam temple in the Korthikota, village of Tanakalla Mandalam in the Kadari constituency.
A devotee has reported to police about this incident.
Sivaramy Reddy (75) his sister Kamalamma and another woman from the village looking after the construction of a new temple in Korthikota after the old Shiva temple demolished.
They found dead in the pool of blood with their throats slit on Monday morning.
The assailants have splattered the blood over Shivalinga and temple premises.
They took the blood of the dead and anointed the idol of Lord Shiva.
The police are investigating the case in human sacrifice/black magic angle.
