Sankranthi 2027 is already shaping up to be a crowded festive season, and the latest industry buzz suggests that another Mega family film could enter the race. Sai Durgha Tej’s Sambarala Yeti Gattu, which was initially planned for release in 2025, is still in production and is now reportedly being considered for a Sankranthi 2027 release.
According to the latest reports, January 12, 2027 is being discussed as a possible release date for the film. Interestingly, the same date in 2024 witnessed the release of Hanu-Man, which went on to become a major blockbuster.
Meanwhile, Mega Prince Varun Tej’s Bhari has already been confirmed for a Sankranthi 2027 release. If Sambarala Yeti Gattu also joins the festive race, Mega fans could be treated to two major releases from the family during the same Sankranthi season.
Directed by Rohith KP, Sambarala Yeti Gattu features Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth, Sai Kumar, Ananya Nagalla, Ravi Krishna, and others in key roles. The makers are expected to officially announce the release date and provide further updates soon.
