Despite their hard trails to stop development in Andhra Pradesh and its capital Amaravati, the AP BJP camp received a huge blow from its own party’s bigwigs recently. Going into the details, the CRDA department of AP fetched two thousand crores of rupees bonds for the development of Amaravati region being the future capital of AP. Irked by this huge bond, the AP BJP leaders like GVL Narasimha Rao along with his colleagues approached the AP Governor ESL Narasimhan and submitted a memorandum to look over TDP Government’s misuse of bonds and alleged that the funds are corrupted.
To their surprise, the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs not only appreciated the developments in Amaravati but also provided an incentive of 26 crores extra as a token of compensation. However, AP-BJP leaders are unable to digest their own party at the Centre is hailing AP for its development and diluting their trails of suppressing the ruling party.
Narasimha Rao who is always ready to sling mud on TDP tried his best to point out at getting bonds for a higher rate of 10.7% but Centre’s incentives completely shut his mouth. Now neither he nor other leaders are seen nowhere to comment or counter Centre’s incentives.
