The BJP led NDA Government showcased its hatred over the AP State by its recent declaration. After bragging for four-plus years, the Central Government finally gave an empty hand to AP regarding the Special Railway Zone to Vizag region.
Forget the Special Category Status, the BJP is expressing its rivalry on AP by stopping funds to the Polavaram Project and halting the sanction of Steel Plant in Kadapa. After many turns, the most awaited Special Railway Zone for Vizag is also termed down today officially. The Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal told the Press that the Railway zone for AP is a closed chapter as it was not included in the AP Bifurcation Act. Not stopping there, he is uttering laws, clauses and constitution to support Centre’s decision on this Railway Zone.
This is said to be a huge blow not only for the ruling Government but to the Andhra Pradesh which has a population of over five crores. Post bifurcation, BJP kept insulting AP in every aspect. With its new enmity with TDP, the Saffron party took AP too personal to help in a dire situation. The common man is watching each and every development keenly and is waiting to teach a retorting lesson to the Centre in the General Elections.
