The bifurcated Andhra Pradesh which is struggling its hard to get on the track is proving its mettle despite the help of Central Government. After topping the charts in many issues like growth rates and Ease of doing business, the state went on becoming the top state for Ease of Living Index.
The Ministry of Urban Affairs and Housing conducted this survey by taking all the states and their data. The survey includes a long time investigation which includes the feedback from six lakhs people from each state and important cities of the State. AP bagged the first place for Ease of living followed by Odisha and Madhya Pradesh. The ruling party TDP worked hard to transform the state by its continuous fight with the BJP at the Centre. Union Minister Hardeep Singh declared that this survey helps the Nation to know more ease of living destinations to develop India and to know which places are lagging behind the development.
The surveys are done taking the factors like Education, Culture and Tradition, Development, Economy, cost of living, Housing, Open Spaces, Water Supply, Power, Recreations for Public, Waste Management, Transportation etc.
