- Mandatory for eligibility in Group-II services.
- Qualification required for final appointment.
Exam Format:

- Objective type examination in offline mode (OMR-based).
- Mains Examination:
- Objective type, with answers to be provided in offline mode (OMR-based) or computer-based test (CBT) as decided by the commission.
