Touted as India’s biggest motion picture, Baahubali – 2 has created history both in the domestic and international market. Though it has taken a while for SS Rajamouli directorial; Baahubali – The Conclusion, to release in China, the opening day collections have been quite brilliant. The movie opened to Rs 16.5 crores (or 15.77 M Chinese Yuan) in China.

This is the third highest opening for an Indian film, after the likes of Secret Superstar, and Hindi Medium which collected 43.67 M Chinese Yuan and 21.27 M Chinese Yuan locally. Baahubali – The Conclusion moved Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’, and Salman Khan’s ‘Bhajarangi Bhaijaan’ to fourth and fifth places respectively. According to trade experts, the movie is likely to collect Rs 100 crores in its lifetime in China Sources also confirmed that the reception from the Chinese audience is amazing.

Many predicted that Baahu.bali – The Conclusion may not be performing great, given the fact that Chinese are already habituated to a historic war drama coupled with high-octane action sequences and grandeur. But the latest buzz clearly toppled the predictions, with Baahubali – The Conclusion collecting more than Rs 16.5 crores at the Chinese Box Office on its opening day.
