Baavalu Sayya Song Singer Radhika Passed Away

It’s the year 1993. A Telugu film called ‘Bava Bavamaridi’ released just like any other regular film. But one song from that movie is still ringing in the ears of Telugu audience. The song ‘Bavalu Sayya’ featuring silk Smitha who was the heartthrob back then has been a blockbuster. It is still played at marriage festivals and other functions. Radhika Thilak, who sang the song has become immensely popular for her husky tone.

Radhika Thilak was born in 1960, in Tirupathi. She has sung songs across in all languages in the South Film Industry. She is famous for her unique voice and singing ability. After getting married, the singer resided in Chennai along with her family. Many directors wanted her to sing at least one song in their films. She has been away from her Singing professions from 2004.

The sudden death of her was unseen by everyone around her. There hasn’t been much news about the singer from the past decade and more. Many people in Telugu film industry have expressed their deep condolences and were left unmoved after hearing the news. Let us all pray for her soul to rest in peace.
